	Pre-printed secure plastic hologram Rotary membership card
	Two versions of the new RI designed membership card are available.
	The first is a plastic card with the security component state of the art holograhic technology. This secure plastic hologram membership card cannot be scanned, reproduced and forged. The Rotary blue colored hologram is in the shape of the RI wheel/emblem and it is located in the upper right hand corner of the plastic card. This security feature makes the hologram membership card unquestioned identification at any Rotary meeting anywhere in the world.
	A holographic ID card was used to secure Ground Zero in New York City after September 11, 2001 to insure that only workers and authorized personnel had access to the site. A holographic card is currently being used to secure The New York Stock Exchange and FedEx facilities worldwide.
	The universal use of the secure plastic hologram membership card will greatly contribute towards providing, at a reasonable cost, a more secure environment at meetings for Rotarians and their guests. It will also support RI's stated mission of "fostering unity among member clubs."
